Russell founded Parity Projects in 2005 whilst carrying out his own deep eco-renovation – work which inspired the later development of the renowned Home Energy Masterplan and CROHM stock assessment advice services.
Russell is a fellow of the Centre of Refurbishment Excellence, serves on the Buildings Working Group of the Green Construction Board. Russell is the key founder of RetrofitWorks and he carried out the business case for the cooperative specifically within North London. Russell is also a current Director of RetrofitWorks co-operative.
Paul Bogle came to the construction industry in 2008 after nine and a half years with leading strategy consulting firm McKinsey and over six years as a senior manager in the Tax Policy Group with one of the Big Four accounting firms, Deloitte. He led on the development of global computer systems that managed those firms’ knowledge and intellectual property and helped people in different time zones collaborate effectively.
Since joining the National Federation of Builders in 2008, he has helped raise the profile of the NFB and its work with local authorities and with central government. He is helping deliver Construction 2025, the industrial strategy for construction, particularly the work on SME access to finance. He served on the steering group for PAS 91 which is designed to simplify pre-qualification, and works with local authorities and framework operators to share good practice and improve access to work for SMEs. Paul is also a current Director of RetrofitWorks co-operative.
Tony Rose has worked in the energy sector for over 25 years. Having gained an MSc in Energy and Buildings, for which he was Winner of the Applied Energy Prize, Tony has worked for numerous organisations over the years including Croydon Council, Greater London Energy Efficiency Network (GLEEN), Advent Energy Management and his current post Ecologic-Energy.
Having experience in manging and delivering retrofit schemes, including a major energy advice contract with LB Camden, several large contracts for social housing EPCs, major CERT insulation contracts with British Gas and SSE, and private sector heating grant programmes for LB Islington, Tony can add value to the RetrofitWorks Cooperative by advising on strategy and business development. He has also been proactive and successful in writing and winning funding bids over the years.
Tony’s current role at Ecologic Energy has provided him with experience of delivering on site project management and he was successful in securing Ecologic Energy as one of the preferred suppliers under the Smart Homes Retrofit Scheme in North London.
Barry is Director for The FMB, the UK‘s largest trade association in the building industry. Barry’s role is to help ensure the FMB is a source of knowledge, professional advice and support for its members by providing a range of modern and relevant business services designed to save members’ time, money and give them a competitive edge.
He also encourages customers looking for a quality builder to use the services of FMB members particularly via our unique online ‘Find a Builder’ service.
Barry’s background is in marketing, having worked as Deputy Head of Marketing for the Home Office, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in this area to the Cooperative.
