With headlines this week that homes face up to £35,000 bills to ‘go green’, and Western Power Distribution estimates 1 in 3 properties will need a power supply upgrade before they can install heat pumps, why is no one talking about the elephant in the room?

Better insulation done on properties now will mean costs like this can be avoided.

The issue is that heat is leaking from homes, and whether we match that load with heat pumps or hydrogen, it’s too much and needs reducing.

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
