Energy efficiency solutions for Oxfordshire homes

Cosy Homes Oxfordshire is committed to helping homeowners across Oxfordshire improve their homes’ energy efficiency through tailored retrofitting solutions. Our goal is to reduce energy bills, lower carbon emissions, and make homes more comfortable, all while supporting a sustainable future. In partnership with Low Carbon Hub, RetrofitWorks, and Parity Projects, we provide a seamless and high-quality retrofit service customized to your specific needs.

Tailored retrofit solutions for every home

At Cosy Homes Oxfordshire, we specialise in whole-house retrofitting. Whether you’re looking to improve insulation, upgrade heating systems, or explore renewable energy options, our expert team will assess your home’s energy performance and recommend personalized solutions. Our mission is to help you lower energy costs, improve comfort, and reduce your carbon footprint.

A comprehensive approach to energy efficiency

The Whole House Plan is at the core of what we do. This detailed, tailored report considers every aspect of a home’s energy performance, including insulation, heating, ventilation, and structural features. The plan prioritizes improvements based on their impact and cost-effectiveness, and the clients priorities, ensuring the plan is optimised for energy efficiency and comfort. By taking a holistic view, we ensure all improvements work together to provide maximum benefits over time.

Empowering communities for a sustainable future

We actively engage with the local community to raise awareness of and support domestic retrofit. Our outreach efforts help foster the growth of the domestic retrofit industry and contribute to Oxfordshire’s journey towards Net Zero.

Cosy Homes has participated in a heat pump trial with Low Carbon Hub to explore zero-carbon energy solutions for rural, off-grid communities. We have also carried out Typology Projects like Home Comforts in partnership with Sustainable Charlbury and West Oxfordshire District Council.

These projects identify common local property types and provide a roadmap to achieving Net Zero, accessible to residents. They open dialogue with Conservation Officers, helping to balance preserving historic architectural features while addressing the climate crisis.

How the Cosy Homes Oxfordshire process works

Cosy Homes Oxfordshire provides a holistic approach to making homes warmer, healthier, and more energy-efficient. By offering expert advice and support throughout the retrofit process, Cosy Homes Oxfordshire guides homeowners from the initial assessment through to the implementation of energy-saving measures.

A detailed Retrofit assessment is carried out at the property to gain a thorough picture of its existing build-up. This is then analysed by an experienced Retrofit Coordinator, combined with the clients goals, and used to create a comprehensive Whole House Plan. A call then takes place to discuss the plan and which measures the client would like to go ahead with, creating the roadmap for the project.

Cut through the noise of all of the products & tech on the market with our completely independent advice. The Retrofit Coordinator will visit the property and walk through the options to find the best solution for the clients’ needs. The Technical Specification is then drawn up, ready to be sent to prospective contractors. Indicative costs for the improvement measures are updated based on the exact specifications drawn up, to give a realistic idea of what the project total will be.

We work with a select group of quality assured member contractors, covering the full range of Retrofit measures. We offer support and coordination throughout the entire process, from quoting right through to the handover of the finished product.
